Meet the men and women who offer workshops and facilitate activities at Avalon Center.

Tara

Tara has been exploring her spirituality for the past ten years. Her interests and beliefs are varied and have given her a passion for teaching. Some of her interests include: journalling, poetry, religion, spirituality, shamanism, tarot, Paganism, dance, Welsh/Celtic studies. Tara currently teaches the Altars & Shrines & Guided Visualization workshops and also offers monthly Sacred Dance classes.

Meri

Meri Fowler brings to Avalon her experience in meditation, Shamanic Practice, Ninjutsu and other healing arts. Drawing on her ten years of study in Bhakti Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga she will be teaching a meditation course for beginners. She also has a 2nd Dan in Ninjutsu, a Japanese Martial Art, and is registered with the Bujinkan Dojo in Japan. Meri will be running an on-going Ninjutsu practice group and other various workshops. She enjoys interacting with people of every level of experience. Meri currently facilitates the Insight Meditation and Ninjutsu Practice groups and teaches both Celtic Shamanism workshops.

Kelly

Kelly possesses a passion for enriching her spirituality and enjoys engaging in community-building activities. Her interests include travel, design, religion and spirituality, mythology and folkore, faery, Celtic and Avalonian/Arthurian studies, Paganism, yoga, Tai Chi, dance, and shamanism. Kelly teaches Sacred Dance and helps facilitate other activities and workshops at Avalon.

Arachne

My name is Arachne and I have been practicing the Craft for almost 6 years, first as a Solitary then shortly after in the Highland Coven, Traditional Celtic Shamanic Wicca, for 5 years. I have a Bachelors degree in education with 25 years of experience teaching children ages preschool to grade 6. I was a language immersion preschool director for 5 years and early childhood education has always been central to my life. I currently teach the Magickal Herbology workshop.

Viviane

Reiki came as gift in Viviane's life while she was studying homeopathy.  Strongly determined to make the best use of this precious gift, Viviane started to give Reiki sessions and attunements. Viviane has been a Reiki Master since 1999.
Viviane teaches the Reiki Level 1 workshop.
